Death Stranding, which Hideo Kojima condemned us to a curious wait for years, finally appeared on PS4 in November 2019, and a few months later, in July 2020, it got its PC version. In the intervening time, the game appears to have achieved a good sales chart, at least the production team is happy with the table.
Jay Boor of Kojima Porductions said in an interview with Gamesindustry.biz: He said the game performed ‘pretty well’ and they were also optimistic about the Director’s Cut version, which will debut for ps5.
Boor; “Death Stranding, the first play by Kojima Productions, performed quite well. In March 2021, the PS4 and PC versions surpassed a total of 5 million sales.”
Boor; While talking about how Kojima had a point of view and reflected them in the game, he also talked about the innovations and improvements in Director’s Cut. As a result, sales are expected to move with this version. To what extent this movement will happen, we will see the answer together from September 24th.
