Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. announced today that the company has signed a long-term partnership agreement with one of Italy’s top football clubs, Società Sportiva Calcio Napoli (“Napoli”).
The “Official Football Videogame Partnership” will kick off with the start of the 2021/22 football season and will bring with it a variety of marketing rights. Starting in the 2022/23 football season, the eFootball PES series will be the only real-time football simulation in which Naples is fully licensed.
KONAMI also announced that they are the Official Sports Center Partner of the famous football club. As of July 1, 2021, the sports complex where athletes also train will be called “SSC Napoli KONAMI Training Center” and will include a games room open to both players and guests.
Società Sportiva Calcio Napoli, one of italy’s most famous football clubs, was founded 95 years ago and has achieved many successes in the country’s best league since its inception.
KONAMI’s announcement of a new collaboration for eFootball PES is a continuation of previous agreements with leading institutions and clubs in Italian football, such as the Italian Football Association, AS Roma and SS Lazio.
