Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. announced a partnership with Polish game developer Bloober Team S.A. This partnership will be about content development.
Bloober Team was founded in Kraków, Poland in 2008 and is a worldwide acclaimed game developer for both the stories and visuals of its high-quality games. Layers of Fear is the developer of The Observer, Layers of Fear 2, Blair Witch and, most recently, The Medium.
Konami will announce details of the contents of his partnership with Bloober when the details become clear.
Konami responded to the question of whether Bloober Team is developing games for a KONAMI brand, “We are excited to work with Bloober Team and other renowned developer partners to develop new games for existing and new IPs.” This actually confirms the rumors, that some of Konami’s famous series will reappear through external studios. Considering that Bloober Team is particularly focused on the horror genre, one or two names immediately come to mind, don’t you think? In fact, let me go even further by saying Silent Hill.
