Konami announced before launching eFootball 2022 that it would be free to play and a demo. However, the team did not expect things to turn out so badly.
From broken gameplay to bad animations and face models, a series of glitches have been criticized by players. The game is currently under heavy criticism in all directions and negative reviews continue to be shared by players.

Konami acknowledged the justification for the reaction and apologised to the players and the gaming community for the game’s troubled release. In a statement posted via the game’s official Twitter page, the company said it would deal with issues related to the game’s balance, inter-scenes, players’ movements, facial expressions, animations and more. Konami assured us that updates will begin from next week.
