According to a post posted on the official Metal Gear Twitter account, Konami is making preparations to bring back Metal Gear games that were taken off sale.
The post reads: “Released on July 13, 1987, the Metal Gear series celebrates its 35th anniversary today. Preparations are being made again for the games that have been temporarily removed from sale.”
Although the post does not name any games, in November 2021 Konami announced that it would temporarily remove Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 from digital stores during the licensing renewal process.
