Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. today announced that Bail or Jail is available worldwide on Steam® for desktop computers until July 27, 20% off!
Supporting up to four players with gameplay inspired by thieving cop mechanics, Bail or Jail will either try to escape from the clutches of the monster or hide and develop sneaky tactics to catch your victims.
In Bail or Jail, a team of human characters face off against a monster that hunts them. The human team will use different lanterns at their disposal to stun the monster and avoid capture, while the person playing as the Monster will use his unique abilities to ambush and capture the human team that is running away from him.
As players progress through matches, they’ll discover which characters work best at each stage, gain more angler abilities, and gradually experience changes to the way the game is played.

Players can enjoy the game on their own or with up to four players if they wish. Thanks to the Quick Match feature, groups of friends on Discord can instantly join friends who were playing Bail or Jail online. Among the in-game rewards that can be earned are new characters, lanterns, titles, and much more. Steam achievements and trading cards will also be added to the game. It is also stated that they are working on updates such as limited events, new maps, new characters.
Bail or Jail was first released on Nintendo Switch™ in 2019 under the name OBAKEIDORO!¬. The Steam® version for desktop computers was developed in collaboration with Konami Digital Entertainment and FREE STYLE Inc.
The game has improved graphics, additional sound effects, and increased realism of character animations and cutscenes compared to the Nintendo Switch™ version.
Bail or Jail supports Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian. More languages are also on the way, including Italian, German, Spanish, Korean, and Portuguese.
