Konami has officially announced that the Pro Evolution Soccer series will be renamed eFootball. eFootball is planned to be an entirely new football platform and will be free to play on all devices.
eFootball will use Unreal Engine 4. It will be released on existing and older generation consoles, as well as on PCs and mobile devices. However, the PC version is a Playstation 5 or Xbox Series S| It won’t have next-generation graphics like X.
Konami also says it will add cross-game support between PC, console and mobile devices during the winter months. This may mean that the basic gameplay mechanics will be similar on all devices.
