Game publisher Kwalee has opened an office in Almada, Portugal.
In addition, in 2020 bangalore became the company’s fourth international office after opening studios in India and Beijing, China.
Kwalee’s new Portuguese office will act as a “technology hub for the company” and lead R&D efforts, the announcement said.
This new location will be headed by Pedro Caria, who joined Kwalee in 2012 and has been the broadcaster’s CTO for more than five years. In addition to leading the new Portuguese office, it will continue to oversee the firm’s technology teams globally.
Also earlier this year, Kwalee acquired French developer Tictales for an undisclosed sum.
