The long-awaited remake of The Last of Us has been officially confirmed through a listing on Sony’s PlayStation Direct store. Of course, this information shows that yesterday’s leak of the Last of Us Remake release date and platforms is correct. Last of Us Remake is gearing up for PS5 and it’s a short time away from meeting PlayStation 5 owners.

Also, feel immersed in advanced effects and advanced exploration and combat.” the game will be released on September 9, 2022.

Also according to the data in the store we have access to the following information:
- Valued at $69.99, the game will include both the main single-player story mode and the prequel DLC called Left Behind. There is no mention of the multiplayer component of the original game.
- An upgraded package, called the Firefly Edition and priced at $99.99, will include a metal box, a comic book reprint, and additional in-game locks.
The trailer states that the game is “also in development for PC,” but there’s no word on the release date for this release.
