After 9 weeks of league competition, the best of the League of Legends 2022 Winter Championship League has been announced. Voting opened after the completion of Week 8 matches, and this year the best of the season were awarded in 10 different disciplines. Eight of the 10 awards were determined by the Championship League Broadcasting Team and the coaching teams of the Championship League teams.
The Most Valuable Player of the Season, Anil “HolyPhoenix” was named Light. The veteran won two awards in the same season, along with the “Best Lower Corridor” award. The only prize chosen by the fans, the “Fan Special Award”, was won by Kim “Crazy” Jae-hee, the Korean top corridor player of Galatasaray Esports.
Kireas, the forester of 5 Ronin, won the “Most Developing Player” award. Pop from Team Aurora, Crazy from Galatasaray Esports, Ferret from fastPay Wildcats, Serin from fastPay Wildcats, HolyPhoenix from fastPay Wildcats, “Best Coach” from 5 Ronin’s coach Vez and “Rookie of the Season” award was won by Fleshy, a support player for NASR Esports.
