The League of Legends MSI 2022 Tournament will take place in South Korea. The best teams in the world are coming to Busan, South Korea, to show off their skills at the 2022 Mid-Season Tournament. The first leg of LoL Esports’ global competition scene will take place in South Korea for the first time in history. The best teams from the 12 regional leagues will compete from May 10th to 29th to highlight their unique character and skills and become MSI Champions.

Busan hosted us great at the 2014 and 2018 World Championships. We can’t wait to get back there to see the best League of Legends teams in the world compete.”
For the first time since Worlds 2019, the teams will take to the global stage in front of a live international audience throughout the entire tournament. All stages of the tournament will take place at the Bexco Exhibition Hall. Ticket details will be announced later.
The best teams from the 12 regions will compete in the group stage, the battle stage and the qualifying stage. May 10-15: The teams will be divided into 3 groups with 4 teams each as a result of the draw and will play a single double league match in their group in the Group Stage.18-22 May: The first two teams from each group will advance in the competition stage, where the six teams currently in the tournament will play a single match in a double league manner. May 27-29: The top four teams will reach the elimination stage, where a five-game single elimination series will be played. After the teams play their cards, the last two teams will meet in the final, and the best League of Legends team in the middle of the competitive season will be decided. The victorious team will return home with the championship trophy and the title of 2022 MSI Champion.
