League of Legends RP prices are coming to a hike. Riot Games is preparing to increase RP and TFT Token prices in many regions, including Turkey. The reasons offered by the company are “inflation around the world, currency fluctuations, maintaining fair prices between and within servers, ensuring consistency in our products, and increases in other related costs.”
League of Legends RP prices hike, expected increase in Turkey pricing is around 19 percent
Cost changes in League of Legends will take effect from 10:00 a.m. on August 19. However, before these price increases, Riot will issue twice as many “additional RP” and “additional TFT Tokens” on RP and TFT Token purchases on all servers between July 14 and 31. After the end of the campaign, RP packages will return to normal until August 19.
According to Riot, the expected hike is around 19 percent. This price change was about 11 percent for the United Kingdom, while it remained at 9.8 percent for European servers. It can be said that inflation has reflected on us again. Riot also talked about changes beyond changing the RP prices of packages:
-Fixed an issue where on some servers champion costumes of RP 1350 or arena skins of 1380 RP/TFT Coins could not be obtained in a single purchase.
Secondly, in order to ensure consistency between games, most real currency prices will be switched to the standard model seen in the mobile game market.
