Yesterday’s Riot Forge Showcase was a packed event, and one of the highlights of the event was a brand new game focusing on one of league of legends’ original characters: Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story.
The remarkableness of this game for me is due to the development team. Like Sexy Brutale, I think Tequila Works, which has signed off on one of the most creative and entertaining adventure/mystery games of recent years, will take us on a search journey with young Nunu;his talent Willump.
I think riot forge is a very successful concept, offering third-party developers the opportunity to make different types of games in the League of Legends universe. “A League of Legends Story”, which is also named after the games, is on its way to becoming a beautiful brand. As of yesterday, it has released two games: Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story and Ruined King: A League of Legends Story.
Song of Nunu will be a story-driven adventure game, and in the trailer we see Nunu’s skills such as building ice bridges over the lake and climbing frozen waterfalls using his flute. And then there’s the battle with Lissandra, one of the Freljord queens.
The video is beautiful, you can already see throughout the video how much Tequila Works is approaching the subject (and sincerely). I immediately added it to the wish list.
