Developer 2.21 has done a great job updating both games of the Little Big Adventure series years later. This year marks the 25th anniversary of Little Big Adventure 2, and this update actually celebrates that.
Despite this, Little Big Adventure 2 is not the only game that has been updated. The 28-year-old Little Big Adventure has also had its share of this update.
The innovations added to the game with the update are listed as follows:
- Automatic camera centering outdoors
- Choose your language
- Steam achievements
- Steam cloud recording
- Controller support
- Ability to assign controller keys
- New Game+
- Possibility to play in the window
The first game had the same features, except that instead of automatic centering, the innovation of turning hitting walls on and off came.
Both Little Big Adventure games have a lot of nostalgic significance for me. So with these updates, I’m hoping that I can find the time to play both games again. I recommend that new players have this experience without muttering their graphics, these are adventure games that tell a very sweet story indeed. See for yourself how high their ratings are on Steam.
The original developer of these games was Adeline Software. Didier Chanfray, co-founder of 2.21, founded Adeline in 1993. So there is such a bond.
