The world of Lord of the Rings, which once again gained attention with the new series of Amazon, has also started to give its games great days. Lord of the Rings Online, the only MMORPG game in the genre, has reached a significant number of simultaneous players after a 10-year absence.
As you know, Lord of the Rings Online was free with the contents of its first six years. Standing Stone Games, which celebrates the 15th anniversary of the game, also surprised the players with plenty of new content. The Yondershire area, which comes with Update 33, seems to have attracted players with free classes and additional packages.
According to SteamDB, it has reached the highest number of simultaneous players in the last 10 years, Lord of the Rings Online. With the update, the game reaches 3,760 simultaneous players and hosts 2,000 players as I write the lines. These figures don’t seem to be huge, but before the update, the number of players has dropped below 1,000.
