Amazoncontinues to expand its cast of “Lord of the Rings,” which has broken records with its budget. So far, the series has signed four new cast members, including Robert Aramayo, Markella Kavenagh, Joseph Mawle and Benjamin Walker. Beau Cassidy will welcome lotr for the first time in his acting career. The first season alone has a budget of $465 million, bringing the number of cast to 39 so far. This number is not expected to increase further, but it should not be said for sure. The series, which began filming in early 2020, will take place during the Second Age of Middle-Earth.
The script of the story, which will tell the story of the Hobbit thousands of years ago, was written by a very large team. J.A. Bayona, Charlotte Brandstorm and Wayne Yip will direct the series. The release date for the first season, which will consist of eight episodes, has not yet been announced. The countdown is underway, at least to see a trailer from the show.
