Lords of the Fallen 2 was first announced by CI Games in 2014. Development of the game was started by Defiant Studios, but this changed by 2019. In 2019, the game was taken over by developer team Hexworks and continued to develop from this year. No release date has been shared to date, including the takeover process.
In a management report released this month, CI Games announced that Lords of the Fallen 2 will debut in 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Marek Tyminski, CEO of CI Games, previously stated about the game: “Lords of the Fallen 2 is the company’s biggest project ever. The previous game debuted at full price as a full-featured production, and we are approaching the sequel more broadly. The sequel will take the series into dark fantasy and offer a reorganized and challenging combat system.”
