Lost Ark had one of the largest ban waves ever seen in a game, and more than a million accounts were banned for using bots on the same day.
On February 11th, Lost Ark met with Western players and received a lot of attention from day one, with 1,324,761 simultaneous players, followed by PUBG; steam became the most simultaneous player game of all time. However, the ban on one million accounts will undoubtedly bring down the game’s current number of simultaneous players. However, according to Steam Charts data, 907,696 simultaneous players have been seen in the last 24 hours, indicating that the game is moving on without losing any blood.
In the wake of this wave of bans, some players say there have been significant reductions in server queues.
“Our team is working extremely hard to develop tools and methods to detect and remove bots from the game,” a message from the Lost Ark Twitter account said. Today we are banning more than a million irregular accounts that we have found to be running bots.”
Statement It was also said that “there may be players who are accidentally affected by this in such a large wave of bans, in which case you can send us a message of objection.”
It’s nice that Lost Ark is trying to keep the game fair to all players, but it’s also not entirely possible to get ahead of bots in DVO’s. Especially when it’s free to play games, it’s hard to avoid repeatedly opening fake accounts.
