Skydance New Media has announced a partnership with Lucasfilm Games to develop a rich and cinematic action adventure game featuring an original story set in the Star Wars universe.
Amy Hennig, president of Skydance New Media, said in a press release: “I have often told you how watching Star Wars in 1977 reshaped a 12-year-old’s brain, unleashed its creativity and is an indelible part of the future. I’m very happy to work with Lucasfilm Games again to tell the interactive stories I love in this galaxy.”
Douglas Reilly, vice president of Lucasfilm Games, said of the partnership: “I’m so excited to be reunited with Amy. He and his Skydance New Media team have the ability and ambition to create a unique Star Wars adventure. The vision of making a cinematic and interactive entertainment product makes this collaboration very exciting. We work frequently with teams of experienced and talented developers. We look forward to sharing more with Star Wars fans when the time comes.”
