The taste of the 2015 film Mad Max: Fury Road is still on our palate. Maybe Mad Max isn’t getting a sequel, but the universe continues to expand with Furiosa’s story. The first script summary of the film, in which Anya Taylor-Joy will play the lead role, was also shared. After the side film where we will witness the origin story of Imperator Furiosa, it is known that a sequel for Mad Max: Fury Road is on the agenda.

Furiosa, played by Charlize Theron in the original film, was a little suspicious, but the name Anya Taylor-Joy managed to erase most doubts. The first script summary shared from the film is as follows;

“As the world falls, young Furiosa will be stolen from the green land of Many Mothers and fall into the hands of the big motor gang. Fighting in these deserts ruled by Warlord Dementus, they will also face off against The Immortan Joe;s Citadel. As two tyrants fight for domination, Furiosa must survive numerous ordeals and find meaning for her return home.”

George Miller’s Mad Max: Furiosa will most likely not include the crazy Max. Thus, for the first time in the series, we will see a movie without Max. The film, which has a release date of May 24, 2024, can hopefully once again experience the emotions of the original film.
