“If Insomniac’s first Spider-Man game was a Star Wars, the sequel expected to be released in 2023 would definitely be The Empire Strikes Back,” said Bill Rosemann, one of Marvel’s creative vice presidents, adding that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2would have a more “dark” structure than the first game. Speaking briefly about Marvel’s Wolverine, Rosemann mentioned that the released trailer contains plenty of ‘Easter Eggs’.
Marvel: ‘Spider-Man 2 will be a darker game’
Insomniac Games, which has proven to be one of the most diligent studios in the gaming world, also knows how to surprise players with Spider-Man news. In 2020, the studio appeared in front of its fans with a surprise Miles Morales announcement and presented much bigger surprises to its fans at the playstation event. One of Sony’s most famous studios, Insomniac Games, is also the developer team of the Ratchet &clank series. Insomniac looks set to be the PlayStation side’s biggest trump card in the next generation.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2,which will include both Spider-Man that we’ve seen in the Spider-Man universe of Insomniac Games so far, includes Venom, one of the most important villains in the universe. Bill Rosemann, who attended the ‘This Week In Marvel’ event, touched on some new information about the new Spider-Man game. Rosemann doesn’t want to give much explicit information about the game, but he’s not going to say much about it. He confirmed that Spider-Man 2 will have a darker structure than the previous two games. Rosemann, who came across a Star Wars analogy, seems to have thrilled Spider-Man fans.
“We will announce when Wolverine will be released in the future,” Rosemann continued. They’re full of details and Easter Eggs,” Rosemann said, pointing to the surprises in the trailer that go unnoticed. Officials recently informed that Wolverine would be more of an ‘adult’ style game, and informed the players of the expected news. Insomniac Games, which also appeared with Wolverine along with Spider-Man 2, looks set to continue to expand its own Marvel universe.
