Marvel’s Midnight Suns, announced at the gamescom 2021 game show opening ceremony, will not include a loot box system, according to new disclosures. Instead, it was stated that the purchase options will proceed entirely through cosmetics and the characters will have different cosmetics.

Commenting on the post on the game’s official Twitter account, one follower expressed excitement for Marvel’s Midnight Suns but worried about the Loot Box system for card packs or costumes. The team then quoted this message and explained that there would be no loot box with this message; “Hi friends, there will be no Loot Box system in Marvel’s Midnight Suns related to our card system or a micro payment system to drop more cards. We will include character costumes and cosmetics that will not destabilize the game.”
