A few years ago, the Marvel Cinematic Universe made another of those huge announcements we’re used to. With all of us turning to brands like X-Men and The Fantastic Four, it was a big surprise that it was announced alongside the lead role of a brand new Blade movie. The film, which will see Mahershala Ali as Blade, still has no release date, but the cast is growing. The last person to join the vampire hunters was Aaron Pierre, who we know from Krypton.
Deadline first reported that Aaron’s character in the film is not yet clear. However, initial details suggest Pierre will play a key role in the film. For the 27-year-old actor, who has been on Marvel’s radar for quite some time, the role has been carefully written. In light of these details, it’s quite possible that blade is his new companion for vampire hunting. I hope Aaron Pierre isn’t allergic to garlic because he can make a lot of garlic bombs! With stacy osei-kuffour’s script, the vampire hunt will officially begin within the MCU.
