Marvel’s Spider-Man, which debuted on PS4 as a PlayStation exclusive game in 2018, was developed by Insomniac Games. The game, which is back on the agenda at the State of Play on the night of June 3, is aimed to be released before Miles Morales with the Remastered version that actually comes to PS5 for PC. Insomniac Games also announced the Spider-Man PC release date , while referring to the sales figures to emphasize the success of the series so far.
Marvel’s Spider-Man sold 33 million units on PlayStation alone
Ryan Schneider, Insomniac’s chief brand officer, said in a PlayStation blog post that there are many people to thank for their support. “I’m very happy to humbly share that Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise has sold more than 33 million copies worldwide by May 15, 2022,” he says, detailing the PC debuts. Insomniac is currently working on Spider-Man 2 for 2023.
Last year, Sony acquired Nixxes to adapt PlayStation exclusives for PC. Insomniac also expresses its confidence in Sony in this regard. Jurjen Katsman, founder of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Nixxes, who will adapt Miles Morales to PC, said: “I am extremely pleased with our collaboration with Insomniac, the bonds of support between our teams and above all the commitment to quality are inspiring”.
PC-specific standards; adjustable rendering options, Ray tracing will also be included, but details will be announced later. It is also emphasized that the games will have as much control support as it can be played with keyboard and mouse.
