The Mass Effect trilogy is undoubtedly one of the greatest game series of all time, and Mass Effect: Legendary Edition has also emerged as a highly successful renovation project for both the former players of the series and the games that will meet the series. Mass Effect: Legendary Edition was already expected to sell well, but sales were much higher than expected, EA announced at an investor meeting.
“The remaster version of Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, the first three Mass Effect games, has reigned the passion of fans around the world and far exceeded our expectations,” says EA CEO Andrew Wilson. Wilson has not disclosed any sales figures, but it’s likely that information about the recent sales of EA’s latest games will also be shared.
Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is a one-man story game that doesn’t include micropayments etc. This may make EA once again understand that, if done correctly, such games continue to be profitable.
EA also announced at the same meeting that they would continue to invest in the Jedi Fallen Order series. This was a one-man game, which means that EA will also appear in one-man story games in the coming period.
