During pdxcon last May, developer Paradox confirmed that Crusader Kings 3 would get its first full-fledged supplement. With this additional package, whose official release date has not been announced, available for pre-order via Steam and the Paradox Store, we had hoped the Royal Court would be released later in the year. But the package won’t be released this year.
With the Royal Court update, plenty of new content awaits us. For example, the additional package will bring with it a fully modeled throne room. With a new system, we’ll be able to use our money to shape our castles. The new cultural system will focus on languages, allowing the names on the throne to speak multiple languages.
The developers, who have expressed dissatisfaction with the current state of the Royal Court, are asking players for a little more time to do so. The additional package, which has no net release date at this time, may appear in the first quarter of 2022. We will learn more about the package in the coming days.
