Today, during the Warrior;s Den live stream, Ubisoft announced that For Honor;s new hero, Medjay;, will be added to the game on July 28. At the beginning of the 6th year and season 2, Bolthorn used the power of stolen artifacts to save his people, but unwittingly cursed Heathmoor. Neferkha, the last grandson of the pharaohs, comes from distant lands to immediately lift the curse. The Medjay Hero will be the first Egyptian hero to join the cast and the second Outlander hero to be added to the faction after last year’s Pirate Hero.
The Medjay as the Outlander came to Heathmoor from distant deserts to track down stolen artifacts and eliminate their power. Medjays are versatile warriors and have a two-in-one fighting style equipped with a fan-shaped axe and a double-handed axe. Since Medjays are unyielding powerful heroes, they hold these weapons in their hands to adapt to any situation. The Fan Axe is a wide-range weapon that is suitable for group fights. Double axes give Medjay an advantage in one-on-one combat.
Players from July 28; As part of a package that includes the new hero, a special decoration, an elite outfit, seven days of Champion Status, and three Scavenger chests, they will be able to purchase the new Medjay Hero from first-party stores for €7.99. Players can also unlock the Hero for 15,000 Steel in-game on August 11.
From July 28, the time that coincides with the hero’s release, For Honor will be free to play on PS4, PS5 and PC for a week. During the free week, players will be able to play the For Honor Standard Edition with full access, and those who want to continue fighting after the free time will be able to transfer their progress and heroes to the full game when purchased. Also on July 28, For Honor is rolling back the Referral Program, where players and newly invited players can earn rewards for inviting their friends into battle.
