The Mega Drive Mini 2 console, which will be offered to users by Sega, is now available for pre-order in Europe. Sega had previously warned that its first Mega Drive Mini console would be one-tenth of the total stock capacity for North America and Europe due to ongoing global semiconductor shortages.
With a width of 120.8 mm, a height of 32.3 mm and a length of 116.5 mm, the mini console has a smaller size than the original Genesis / Mega Drive Mini. It will have more than 50 SEGA/Mega CD and Genesis/Mega Drive games, including games not available for the original consoles. The console will support 720p and 480p resolutions.
The mini console can only be ordered through Amazon for £109.99 / €109.99. Mega Drive Mini 2 packs 60 games, including seven previously unreleased games.
