Kadokawa Games has announced that the development process of Metal Max: Wild West, the sequel to Metal Max Xeno: Reborn, has stopped.
Metal Max: Wild West was originally scheduled to be released in Japan for PlayStation 4 and Switch in 2022. The most recent update to the game was the news in May 2021 that it was being postponed to 2022.
In a message to fans, Kadokawa Games reported the following about the current state of development of the game: “We have decided to stop the development process considering various factors related to the game.”
No further details were disclosed.
