I express how much I love subway games at every turn, so it may be the millionth edition for you, but it’s a series I really love, so what can I do 🙂 I look forward to the next step and pray that they do not switch to a fully online co-op game. Let’s wait for what the new Metro game will be like on the one hand; 4A Games is already gearing up for a new IP.
Many job ads have been published by 4A Games, some of which relate to a ‘new IP’. Six of the staff will be employed to work for a new gaming brand. Positions advertised; they range from game systems designer to concept artist.
There’s not much detail about the game, obviously it’s still in the early stages. But it’s not like we’re wondering what 4A Games is going to do. After all, they did a pretty good job in all three Metro games, performing well in adapting Glukhovsky’s stories. Now I don’t know if they’ve moved on to the gamification of another work or if they’re developing a game brand themselves. But I’m hoping they’ll make a play that will please the gamers again.
