Microids and Mr. Nutz Studio announced Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja for PCs and consoles. The game, which will be released in 2022, will be a remake of the arcade game that stormed into the early ’90s.
“The game’s Mr. Nutz Studio (Toki, Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All!) This new version, developed by Microids, will take players back to prehistoric times and cast them as cavemen ready to do whatever it takes to save the women of their tribe.”
It’s nice to be reunited with Joe & Mac after over 25 years. I played the 1992 version of Amiga (it was called Caveman Ninja) and I think it was a hugely successful game with both graphics and action.
Microids hasn’t released a trailer yet, but the screenshots look pretty good:
