Publisher Microids has announced the opening of a new office space in China.
The company said it aims to promote new partnerships and distribute titles locally with its subsidiary Microids China.
Microids announced that 85% of its revenue comes from outside its country of origin, France, with annual growth of 50% over the past four years. The opening of the Chinese office signals its intention to continue to expand its activities internationally.
Microids China will be represented by Wenbin Zhang, who works with Yves Bléhaut, Microids’ senior vice president for strategic partnerships.
“The opening of this new office in China is a new step in Microids’ expansion strategy,” said Stéphane Longeard, CEO of Microids.
