One of the ads that aired during The Game Awards was about Game Pass, and microsoft really should be congratulating you on creative ads. Again, they came up with a very fun job and made the transition to PC Game Pass enjoyable 🙂

You know, Game Pass has both Xbox consoles and PCs. To date, Microsoft has been using the name “Xbox Game Pass for PC” for the PC part, and it was really confusing. There wasn’t much point in having both Xbox and PC in the same name, to be honest.

Microsoft will now use the name PC Game Pass for an Xbox Game Pass for PC subscription. Anyway, I’ve been writing in content like this for a very long time, because it was extremely easy to understand.

Although the name of the PC subscription changes, the Xbox logo will continue to be included in the logo, because “Xbox” is the brand that represents the ecosystem.
