Mod makers are reportedly currently working on the Half-Life 2 Remastered Collection with Valve’s approval. According to SteamDB, the team in charge of this Remastered Collection is the same team that developed Half-Life 2: Update.
This mode will include the main game as well as Episode 1 and Episode 2. No details about this mode/project have been published except for these. How much will this project improve graphics? Will it have high-resolution textures and effects such as ray tracing? These are among the unanswered questions at this time.
