The publisher recently confirmed that all pre-orders and the upcoming Modern Warfare 2 open beta will be available to PlayStation console users at least five days before all other platforms. Ralph Valve, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players who pre-order the game will have early access to the open beta, which is scheduled to be released between September 17-19, five days before it is scheduled to be released on September 14-16.
Cross-play tests for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Seriess X/S, and PC will be available to all players from September 25-26, but users who purchase the game with early access will be able to participate in these tests on September 22-23.
