Capcom will unveil new details about its Monster Hunter Rise expansion, Sunbreak, next week. On Tuesday, March 15th, a nearly 20-minute live stream of “exciting descriptions of new monsters, game information and more” will begin at 5 p.m. Turkish time on Capcom’s Twitch channel .
Monster Hunter Rise expansion pack continues the main story
The original Monster Hunter Rise was based on protecting the peaceful Kamura Village from monsters that were ravaged by a mysterious phenomenon called Rampage. Sunbreak takes place shortly after our adventures in the main game, and your player character is sent to a remote country called Elgado to investigate another major threat on the orders of a female knight. This knight is also noted for his resemblance to Rondine, one of the merchants from Kamura’s Village, where you bought goods.
We will learn new details about Sunbreak, which is the known story details so far, live on Tuesday, March 15. The first elder dragon class we see in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak, which means malzeno from the toughest monster group in the series, will be accompanied by new monsters.
Monster Hunter Rise first appeared on the Nintendo Switch in March 2021 and on PC last January. The game received very positive reviews from the press during the release period, and in the first 10 days it had 5 million sales and brought the total sales figure of the series to over 70 million. That’s a pretty serious number, because Capcom’s biggest series, Resident Evil, has sold just over 100 million.
Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak will be released in the summer of 2022 and will include new stories, regions and monsters, as well as newly added hunting actions and missions.
