Monster Hunter is a series that tops Capcom’s bestseller list, with Monster Hunter Rise at the top, while its additional package, Iceborne, ranks 4th. The latest in the series, Monster Hunter Rise, continues this tradition.
Monster Hunter Rise, which debuted exclusively on the Switch in March, has already sold 7.5 million copies, according to data shared by Capcom. The game sold 5 million in its release week. An additional 2.5 million copies were added in the remaining period.
Updates to the game will also increase this number, but we can expect it to make a splash mainly after January 12, 2022; because the PC version will be released on this date. If Monster can push the throne of Hunter World, we’ll all get the answer next year.
