Speaking to Wired,Hermen Hulst, president of PlayStation Worldwide Studios, explained that a lot of first-party games are on the way for the PlayStation 5.
According to Hermen Hulst, more than 25 first-party games are currently in development for the PlayStation 5. Almost half of these games are completely new IP and the rest are sequels to existing series.
Games range from small to large, from independent to AAA and to different genres. That includes probably partnerships with studios like Haven and Firewalk. Looks like most of them are a long way from check-out.
Wired’s article said Horizon Forbidden West is still scheduled to debut this year.
