NetherRealm Studios has announced that it will no longer support Mortal Kombat 11, and that’s because the studio has now shifted its focus to an entirely new project. This means that no more new characters will be created and released for the game. John Rambo, Mileena and Rain were the latest characters to make Mortal Kombat 11.
There’s no word at this time on what the next project will be. This is assumed to be Injustice 3 or Mortal Kombat 12. However, there are those who suggest that the studio may be working on a brand new and unexpected game.
Mortal Kombat 11 was first released in April 2019 and received two years of support from NetherRealm Studios.
