Publisher Warner Bros. Games and developer Play First Games have shared new details about the first season of MultiVersus, a free-to-play, two-to-two platform fighting game with an ever-expanding world that combines iconic characters and mythical universes. With Season 1, the game comes the Arcade mode, ranked battles, new cosmetics and new characters.
On the other hand, it was recently announced that LeBron James from Space Jam: A New Legacy will participate as a playable character in the free-to-play platform fighting game MultiVersus. In addition, Rick & Morty’s Rick & Morty joins the game as part of the first season.
Season 1 of MultiVersus will kick off on August 9, and on the same day, Morty will be cast as the game’s 18th playable character. The character of Rick will appear in the game as part of Season 1, but the release date is not yet clear.
MultiVersus is currently available for PC via PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam.
