We found out last week that Naughty Dog was working on The Last of Us Remake. With the release of the PS5 version, The Last of Us will also be the first game to be renewed for all three PlayStation generations.
Sony; shifted naughty dog to The Last of Us Remake because the studio’s new projects are still in the pre-production phase. The team has been shifted to The Last of Us so they don’t stand idle and get used to working with ps5 at the same time.
Speaking to theMinnMax Show;, Jason Schreier replied to the presenter’s question about whether remaking the 2013 game was a waste of the team’s talent & what else are they going to be busy with right now?"
"Neil Druckmann and other creative directors gather in a room ;what do we want our next project to be?" there’s not much that hundreds of people in the studio can work on,” schreier.
