Square Enix said sales of Neo: The World Ends with You fell short of sales expectations and failed to meet targets. The play was highly acclaimed by critics, and its GPA hovers around 80. And it was a sequel to a successful play like The World Ends with You.
Square Enix president Yosuke Matsuda also addressed games in the HD segment at the financial meeting, saying that Neo: The World Ends with You; That doesn’t paint a bright picture for the future of the series.
The World Ends with You came out for the Nintendo DS in 2007, which is one of the games I best refer to as DS (though my number one is always Ghost Trick).
Neo: The World Ends with You is released for PS4, Switch and PC.
