Developer Grasshopper Manufacture was acquired by NetEase.
The agreement was signed on 31 May 2021, NetEase announced in a press release today. However, the Chinese firm did not disclose the terms of the deal.
Japanese studio Grasshopper Manufacture has been led by Goichi ‘Suda51’ Suda for 23 years.
In addition, the studio developed games such as the No More Heroes series, Killer7 and Lollipop Chainsaw.
