Netflix, which we have known for a long time wants to enter the world of gaming, has taken one of its clearest steps. Oxenfree’s maker Night School Studio; the famous digital streaming platform wants to make a rapid entry into the industry, especially with mobile games.
In a statement, Netflix said: “We are learning how important Night School is to them. The studio will make it much more comfortable for the brand to enter the gaming world and will be able to use all the naming rights that the platform has.
Just that means night school studio can produce games of remarkable names in the future. Netflix, however, says night school is still an “independent” studio. So the team will continue to make their own games the way they want to. In short, the Oxenfree II project has not yet been shelved.
