Bandai Namco announced the new game of the series is on its way in a live broadcast to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Ace Combat series. Kazutoki Kono, director of the legend of Ace Combat, made sure to share with us the first information about the new game. The play, which has no release date yet, will also welcome a new producer for the first time.
As always, the Project Aces team is at the beginning of the new project announced by Kono. However, underlining that they are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the brand, the director says that they now realize that they are appealing to different audiences. In the meantime, we have the opportunity to learn that the latest game in the series, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, has sold more than 3 million copies.
This topic of appealing to different audiences has also led Kono and his team to think differently. For this reason, Project Aces decided to include the ILCA team, which makes cinematics of the seventh game, in the project. IlCA is currently working on Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. These games can be described as remaster versions of the original Diamond and Pearl.
Unfortunately, that’s all we have on the new game. Let’s see if the new Ace Combat can achieve the success of the last game.
