Assassin’s Creed Valhalla senior author Alain Mercieca has few ideas as to where he wants the series to take place in the next game, including Brazil and the Mediterranean island of Malta. In an interview, he also said that the possibilities are very high, but for history buffs, the island of Malta is very special.
New Assassin’s Creed game can be set in Malta or Brazil
In an interview with TheGamer, Mercieca said he could thinkof “too many possibilities to choose” about where the next Assassin’s Creed game will be . Nevertheless, the island of Malta, the largest of the three islands inhabited by humans in 5200 BC and forming the Maltese archipelago, attracts special attention from Merciada because of its passion for history.
Mercieca “As someone obsessed with history, I am excited by the idea of niche warriors of a lost ball on the island of Malta. In such a situation, I would be ready to jump in and blow it up.”
Of course, Assassin’s Creed games are huge, and Mercieca knows that for the next game, it may have to think of a bigger region than Malta. “On a larger scale, I feel that there is a rich cultural fabric in South America that the brand has not yet fully explored,” he said. “From the Incas to the Spanish conquerors, it’s a fascinating history. Although Black Flag has mentioned some, I feel more like Brazil.”
Mercieca seems to be speaking from a more personal point of view, not about any official plans here. It’s worth knowing, we don’t know where the new game of the series will be until an official announcement is made, but that’s the senior author’s opinion. Ubisoft has not yet officially announced the next game in the series, and no leaks or rumors have emerged that will be spread at this time. So what would a new AC game look like in Brazil or Malta?
