Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Infinity is the codename of the next game in development for the Assassin’s Creed series.
The verification comes from Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier’s report, which describes the game as a “massive online platform.”
Schreier said: ” Each of the previous Assassin’s Creed games will appear in certain historical environments, such as ancient Greece or Egypt, while Infinity will contain multiple environments. Individual games on the platform will look and feel different, but they will all be connected.”
Assassin’s Creed Infinity is still a few years away from launch, Bloomberg reports. This coincides with the “under development” state of the game.
