New rumors are beginning to emerge that it could take place during the new Assassin’s Creed Crusade. If you recall, the first game in the series, Assassin’s Creed, takes place in a similar period, and towards the end of the game we also witnessed some moments of the Crusades. In fact, we can say that the game, which took place in 1191, coincided precisely with the end of the 3rd Crusade. Because we know that the 3rd Crusade, in which Selahattin Eyyubi protected Jerusalem from these raids, was carried out between 1187 and 1192. In the first game, as Altair, we saw one leg of this expedition, but we didn’t take part in it as a story.
New Assassin’s Creed could lead to crusade
French Youtuber J0nathan is the source of these rumors. The biggest factor that makes him important in this news and gossip is due to his previous content about Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Before the game was announced, J0nathan first shared information about the game in a similar way and provided a lot of information about Valhalla that was true. A similar content was included for the new Assassin’s Creed game.
According to this rumor, the new Assassin’s Creed will be set during the 3rd Crusade. As a story and date, we’ll go right after the first Assassin’s Creed game. It is stated that the new game, which will start in 1191, will present the events of 1199 and cover the richard the lionheart period.
Will there be Altair in the new Assassin’s Creed?
It has also been informed that the game will take place in more than one region, including the cities of Acre (Israel), Corfu (Greece), Dubrovnik (Croatia), Vienna (Austria), Cologne (Germany) and Paris (France). We think we’ll probably visit these counted areas briefly. Outside of these regions, players are said to be able to manage a character named Edmund. Considering the dates, we can also say that we have a good chance of seeing Altair in the game.
Finally, the release date of the game was 2022. Due to the Covid-19 effect and the fact that it is the first Assassin’s Creed to be made with a new generation of focus, it has also been stated that Ubisoft will not feature a game later this year. Of course, let’s reiterate that all this information is a guess, as we mentioned at the beginning.
