The new Call of Duty game of 2022 may also be released sooner than expected. Tom Henderson, famous for foreshading the news to be announced in the gaming world, suggested that the failure of worldwide sales numbersto reach the expected level could push forward the release date of the new COD game.
New Call of Duty release date could be set early
In a series of tweets on January 13, Tom Henderson claimed that Call of Duty: Warzone would receive a “huge” update with the release of the game, which is expected to be a sequel to Modern Warfare 2019. They were integrated into Warzone a month or two after appearing in Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty Vanguard.
Henderson also claims that this new game, which he claims will be Modern Warfare 2, will be announced in the summer of 2022. Both Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Vanguard were announced in August.
Earlier rumours about the new Call of Duty game, which is expected to be released this year, also claimed it would feature a story focused on Colombian drug cartels and some maps from the original Modern Warfare 2 released in 2009.
