The GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition update corrects the raining effect, adding new cinematic camera angles and more, which is one of the most criticized topics. According to update notes posted in Rockstar Games Support, problems such as raining indoors, some typos, and faulty coatings have been fixed.
GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition update released for all platforms except Switch
With the cinematic camera added to the game with the update, long car rides can become more retractable. The update will be released for the Switch “in the coming days,” according to Rockstar. Here are some of the fixes highlighted from the patch notes:
General Fixes – Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC
– Fixes to overall game balance
– Cinematic Camera added.
– Fixed some misspellings and lyrics in artworks and songs.
Xbox One- Fixes for all games
– Fixed an error that caused the game to crash when you left certain venues.
– Fixed an issue where previous achievements on accounts linked to the same Social Club account would not be opened in Definitive Edition.
PC- Fixes applied for all games
– Mission Failed! fixed an issue that prevented clicking “Cancel” or “Confirm” on the screen.
– Fixed an issue that prevented players with special characters in their account names from recording their games.
– Fixed an issue that reset graphics settings when you restarted the game.
– The game will now be properly placed on the screen when playing at Ultra Widescreen resolution.
